We went here to celebrate my birthday and they did a great job! Service was great, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was REALLY good too! Burgers were delicious and my kid got their chicken tenders and he loved them. The place has all kinds of sports decor inside. The one thing is that I don't think they have update the decor in over 20years and some of the booths are starting to rip and wear out. Other than that, the place is great! I even got some carrot cake to go and it was a nice topper to a great bday celebration!
Used to come here as a kid decades ago. Still an amazing family friendly restaurant. Fast pace n hot to eat once served. Monique was and OG waitress. Always on the ball checking on us. Ribs fall off the bone. All you can eat seafood on Fridays. And don't get me started on their mashed potatoes n gravy. Home cooking. Not super busy.
First time eating here, they had my favorite open faced chili burger very hard to find around here, it was excellent. Laura was our waitress and she did an awesome job. The restaurant is actually pretty cute and nostalgic. Can't wait to visit again.
In the mood for a filling lunch, stop in at JJ's Restaurant. When in the area we drop by. Today our server was Chris and she was outstanding. We ordered our favorites--nachos. I had the beef. Hubby had the barbecue. Atmosphere is retro. Staff friendly. Food tasty and plentiful. I alway need a takeout box. Prices are reasonable.
Stopped in for a quick bite. Solid family dining. i had the smothered chicken with a nice sized side salad and bright green beans with a bit of bacon. My friends got the pulled pork nachos, a hickory bbq sandwich, and a huge cobb salad. We were all quite happy with our meals. Good portions with good flavors. Restaurant was busy but service was still good.
Good family restaurant. Clean, friendly and contrary to the sign on the door, it is not a smoking restaurant! Our server said they were known for their ribs, fried chicken and burgers, so we each tried a burger. A single is plenty and they were really good. I had a side salad and while it was healthier than the fries I could have ordered, it was just your standard -- iceberg lettuce, tomato, shredded cheddar, red onion and croutons. If you ask for dessert, they actually bring a tray of desserts out instead of just the menu. I thought that was a nice touch! We would certainly return if we were driving through the area again.
